This is the Proteus Sample & Hold filter pedal from Subdecay – a simple yet powerful filter. This mkII Proteus is all analog, and based on an OTA circuit, similar to the old Masetro units. With modern digital controls such as tap tempo, and the ability to switch between sample&hold and the filter on the fly, you can plug, play, and perform with no hassle. The Proteus features Depth and Frequency knobs to control the overall tone of the filter, a step-multiplier for the sample and hold function, switchable lowpass / bandpass filter, and a bypass switch.
