The Story

Used 1973 Stratocaster Electric Guitar 3 Color Sunburst

This vintage 1973 Fender Stratocaster is packed with mojo and true to early '70s Fender form, is nice and lightweight, and a great resonant guitar with excellent playability! The guitar is not without it's lovable blemishes but is a great player. Standard features include the alder body, maple neck and fingerboard, a set of 3 Strat single coils, large headstock with bullet truss rod and Fender "F" tuners, 3 bolt neck plate, and the tremolo bridge.

Cosmetically the guitar shows it's age with a good amount of nice looking finish wear. The finish on the next is also worn nicely in a few areas, especially on the fingerboard - no sticky gloss poly. The pickguard is non-original and the bridge pickup has been replaced with an older and hotter DiMarzio pickup. The neck and middle pickups are original but the neck pickup is pretty weak. There are also 2 old humbucker routes in the neck and bridge position that weren't exactly performed by a master luthier. The guitar has been refretted with vintage style frets, so nothing to worry about there. Lastly, the 5 way switch it a newer replacement from the '80s.

This Strat includes a newer tweed Fender case, tremolo arm is not included. Only 7 pounds 10 ounces and plenty of tone!

Includes: Fender Tweed Hardshell Case
