Everyone dreams of finding a vintage Strat that's been preserved in a forgotten closet. This pre-owned Custom Shop '60 Reissue Strat is a prime example of the first golden era of the Fender Custom Shop. The Three-Tone Sunburst finish over the Ash body gives this guitar a classic early '60s look that's complemented by the Rosewood fingerboard. The neck is constructed from a gorgeous piece of figured Maple that really pops visually. All of the traditional Strat sounds are here as well, with three Fender single-coils wired to a five-way switch for full-bodied neck pickup sounds, quacky "in-between" tones, and biting treble leads. The legendary John Cruz did the final tune-and-test setup on this guitar before it left the factory, leaving his signature stamp inside the tremolo cavity. This instrument is in overall excellent condition.
