Used 1995 Nighthawk Standard Electric Guitar Sunburst Item Description
How do you make a Gibson Nighthawk even funkier? You throw in a Roland GK-2A MIDI pickup on it, making this super versatile electric guitar capable of controlling your Roland synth unit of choice. This pre-owned Nighthawk Standard was made in 1995 with a sunburst finish. What makes the Nighthawk different from most other Gibson models is its 25.5” scale length as opposed to 24.75” scale length. The pickups are two humbuckers along with a single-coil in the middle to get a ton of sounds out of one guitar.
This Nighthawk had a headstock break that was professionally repaired and looks very well done and stable, the truss rod works perfectly. There are some scratches and dings throughout the body, and one ding on the back of the neck. The guitar works 100%, and includes a Roland VG-8 synth. The synth unit works, however the LED screen is currently malfunctioning where the lower half of the screen cuts out and is unreadable. We imagine this part can be replaced, but it is being sold as is.
