Ernie Ball Music Man Luke III Guitar
Posted on by ZooKeeper
The Ernie Ball/Music Man Luke guitar is the signature instrument of legendary session guitarist Steve Lukather. Fact: Steve has played on over 1500 albums over the course of his career, and since 1998, his Luke has been in his hands. Now, the Luke III has been unveiled at NAMM 2012 and we’re there to check it out. The updates to Steve’s trusty axe include a satin rosewood neck (which feels amazing), passive DiMarzio pickups, a very unique Olive Gold finish, and a very cool “push/push” tone pot that enables a whopping 12db output boost. Music Man worked hard on this feature, and ensures that it is sonically transparent, giving a solid, clean boost to the signal whenever it is needed.
