Game of Thrones Fender Sigil Collection - The Music Zoo

To celebrate the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, HBO and the Fender Custom Shop have teamed up to release three masterbuilt, handcrafted guitars inspired by the series and the three Houses. Built by Masterbuilder Ron Thorn, the series is dubbed the Game of Thrones Sigil Collection and contain the House Stark Telecaster, House Lannister Jaguar, and House Targaryen Stratocaster! Each guitar in the Sigil Collection draws inspiration from each House’s family seal, their costume design, armor, weaponry and geography. Masterbuilder Ron Thorn, who specializes in engravings, machining, and inlay work – was the right builder for the job! An homage to the House that rules the north, the House Stark Telecaster pays tribute to the clan with a Grey Wolf top and back finish, with a Raven Back finish to the sides, all bound in silver with matching silver side dots and a Direwolf sigil at the 1st fret inlay. The pickguard – most notably has the Direwolf engraved into it. Specs on the guitar are a 9.5” radius ebony fretboard, Josefina handwound pickups, a raw steel bridge, and bone nut. The Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Stark Telecaster includes a custom leather and faux wolf fur-lined hardshell case with matching strap and Certificate of Authenticity.

Hear this Jaguar roar with the House Lannister Jaguar, the most ornate and decorated of the Sigil Collection. The guitar shows off Ron Thorns experience with engraving materials such as 24k gold leaf, which works perfectly with the sweeping shape of the Jaguar body. The guitar is finished in Lannister Gold and Burnt Crimson, covered in a super thin lacquer. Two hand-wound Fat ‘50s Stratocaster pickups are topped with gold covers to fit the motif. Each piece of hardware on the Jaguar is hand engraved, from the knobs, gold-plated pickguard, and lion sigil on the 1st fret. Other features include traditional Jaguar controls, vintage-style Jaguar wiring, vintage-style Jaguar tremolo tailpiece and bridge and vintage-style tuning machines. The Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Lannister Jaguar includes a custom gold Tolex and crushed velvet-lined hardshell case with matching strap and Certificate of Authenticity.

Fire and Blood ring out loud and clear with the House Targaryen Stratocaster! Each side of the Stratocasters body with its dragon scale design leaves every angle of the guitar a sign to behold. The finish is titled “Dragonglass Black” covered in a very thin lacquer to let the guitar breathe and feel super smooth. The guitar is loaded with three hand-wound Texas Special pickups, and accoutrements include hand cut and engraved sterling silver dot markers, a dragon sigil at the 1st fret, and a hand-stained and tooled leather pickguard bearing the House Targaryen three headed dragon sigil! The Sigil Collection Game of Thrones House Targaryen Stratocaster, includes a custom reptilian embossed leather hardshell case with matching strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
