Jackson USA Announces Limited Edition Oli Herbert Signature Rhoads Model!
The recent passing of Oli Herbert, founding member "All That Remains" has had an impact on metal fans abroad. As a homage to the talented guitarist, Jackson has just announced a very limited run of a Oli Herbert Signature Rhoads model, with only 7 guitars to be built!
Based on the model he uses onstage, the Oli Herbert Rhoads features a V-shaped mahogany body with a gorgeous ¾” quilt maple top and Red Rum finish. The one-piece quartersawn maple through-body neck is graphite reinforced, with a comfortable scarf joint, Jackson 3x3 AT-1 headstock, and hand-rubbed urethane gel back finish for speed and smooth playability. The 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fingerboard has 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, distinctive mother-of-pearl “rune” inlays, and black binding.
The two revolutionary Seymour Duncan® Duality humbucking pickups feature a hybrid design that combines the tonal flexibility of passive pickups with the added benefit of an active onboard preamp. Other premium features include a single volume control, three-way toggle pickup switch, FU-Tone bridge and locking nut, Gotoh™ die-cast tuners, chrome hardware and a hardshell case loaded with case candy items including a signature guitar strap with runes, custom guitar picks, pick tin and certificate of authenticity signed by Herbert.
