Joe Bonamassa Visits The Music Zoo & Performs At Westbury Theater!
When Joe Bonamassa is in town, it’s a big deal for us guitar nerds… and with the Westbury Theater holding a spot on his latest North American tour, it was no surprise that he stopped by the showroom not too far from the venue. While he was here Joe put together a Gibson Custom Les Paul right in our Made 2 Measure room (More info on this to come!). But like any player at The Zoo, Joe spent plenty of time checking out cool guitars, chatting with us about gear, and hanging out with a few customers!
However, it wasn’t long before Joe had to split and head to his gig, where he put on an awesome show to a sold out crowd. Toting a number of slick Gibson’s throughout the night, including a ES archtop, Custom R9 Les Paul, and his infamous “Skinnerburst” Les Paul, guitar geeks surely got their fill. Joe even brought out a Strat and the Hamer seen above for a few songs. All-in-all, the night was filled with enough smooth licks and Dumble tone to make us shed a tear, and we were thankful to have the opportunity to see such a great show! Have a look at a few photos we captured from the concert, featuring a few of the axe’s Joe sported throughout the evening.
