Posted on by Pete Gerontakos
NAMM2016 Friedman Amplifiers have quickly become some of our favorite amps, ever. It’s always a must to stop by and hangout at one of our favorite booths at NAMM! Here’s what we caught…
Bill Kelliher (Mastodon) Butterslax 100 Watt Head and Cabinet – $3899 Head, Cabinet TBD – Gain and more gain! This Three Channel amp is handwired in the USA, and the cabinet consists of 2×15 on the bottom and 2×12 up top. Water bottle not included…
Buxon Betty 1×12 Combo- $2899 – This is the Ultimate Clean to Medium Breakup amp. 50 Watts (tube) with a single channel, spring reverb, and is loaded with Celestion G12M-65 Creamback loaded speakers!
Me-Drive and Fuzz Fiend tube pedals – Yes! Friedman has entered the effects pedal world and they sound unreal! They’ll be available in April/May and priced somewhere around $299
BE-OD and SIR-COMPRE (Overdrive and Compression Pedals) – Lastly, the Brown Eye gets it’s own OD pedal and works well when paired with the Friedman compression. These 2 should be priced a between $199-229 and we’ll have the details for that as soon as we can!
