Gretsch Masterbuilders such as Stephen Stern create one of a kind artfully-made guitars specifically for NAMM 2020!

The Music Zoo - as one of the top Gretsch Custom Shop Dealers in the world - got an up-close look at the Fender event on Wednesday, January 15th. Each year, there are hundreds and hundreds of Custom Shop guitars both Teambuilt and Masterbuilt released for the NAMM show, and it always seems that the Masterbuilders never reach a peak of their skill, every year just gets better and better with the creativity of the Showcase Guitars. This might be the most inventive year we've seen from Gretsch yet. A Reverse Billy Bo masterbuilt by Stephen Stern with a mahogany body, silver sparkle binding, a Super Tron neck pickup combined with an EVH humbucker and Kahler bridge?! I mean, come on! That is so cool. Other standouts include a double-neck Penguin, and a 1959 Falcon with a spruce top and rosewood back/sides. Gretsch really brought it to the next level this year!
