Out of the Case: Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom/400 Set
Posted on by Jordan Usatch
Feast your eyes on this stunning set of the elusive Gibson Les Paul Custom/400 in both ebony and white finishes. Les Paul Custom/400s were a very small run of Gibson Custom Shop guitars built between 1991 and 1992. The Music Zoo owner Tommy Colletti has had a number of the White split-block inlaid Customs in his collection, which is where the guitar pictured here came from. When we saw an even rarer black Custom/400 come through our doors, we knew we had to pair the two together for a photo set!
The guitars are similar in looks but differ in the white guitar having a slimmer neck profile and gold Keystone tuners, with the ebony Custom having gold Rotomatics and a thicker "C" shape to the mahogany neck. Enjoy the photo set and be sure to keep an eye on our used Gibson selection, you never know when another Custom/400 will pop up for sale!
