Sneak Peek: Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong ES-137
Posted on by Tim Reynolds
The folks at Gibson have been very busy recently rolling out tons of new models including this Billie Joe Armstrong ES-137! A slight break from ES-137 tradition to meet the demands of Green Day’s touring schedule, this guitar features a chambered mahogany core that enhances sustain and fights unwanted feedback. Just like his Junior, he chose P90 pickups for a fat, gnarly tone. Other specs include Billie’s custom neck profile, a Black Cherry Burst nitro finish, and dual volume controls with an Alpha 3-way rotary selection switch. This guitar will be highly limited, but you know The Music Zoo will have ’em!
Retail on the Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong ES-137 is $4,704.00, and we expect the MAP (street) price will be $3,299.00
