OM Arts & Crafts
Third in a line of popular "Arts & Crafts" models, this OM size Martin pays homage to the late 1800s Arts & Crafts style. It's ornate appearance is equally matched by it's impressive tonewoods, including an Adirondack spruce top and German white oak back and sides, as well as a beautiful Guatamalan rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Oak was a common tonewood around the turn of the 20th century and is a fitting choice for this beauty. Other features include a VTS top, vintage copper open gear tuners, and a modern high-performance neck.
D-28 Bigsby
No, this is not quite a Martin with a Bigsby tailpiece! The D-28 Bigsby was made in partnership with Gretsch, as a tribute to Merle Travis and the original Bigsby guitar. It dons a Bigsby shaped headstock, as well as a unique maple neck, and uses the newly re-imagined D-28 design of 2017 and beyond. The interior label is signed by Chris Martin IV and Fred Gretsch.
Jimmy Buffett Custom
The Jimmy Buffet Custom Signature Edition was inspired by Jimmy's attraction to the black finished CEO-6 dreadnought that appeared in 2013. After teaming up with his guitar tech and Martin's custom shop luthiers, the result is this slope shouldered beauty in a striking black finish, bearing Jimmy's signature palm tree headstock inlay, as well as a high end Fishman Gold Plus Natural I preamp.
D-16EPD Poker Dogs
Another impressive Martin tribute to the arts, this D-16 "Poker Dogs" is inspired by classic Americana art from the artist Cassius Marcellus Coolidge. The graphic on this guitar is from a 1903 painting called A Friend in Need. It's printed on a Sitka spruce top and boasts a plethora of style 16 features, including sycamore back and sides, a high-performance neck, and quality Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics.
Konter Ukulele
This ukulele is Martin's replica of the original Konter uke, owned by Richard Konter aka "Ukulele Dick". This ukulele ended it's life with more than 210 signatures, first from his fellow crew members on his expedition to the North Pole, and then later by President Coolidge, the Vice President, Theodore Roosevelt Jr, Amelia Earhart, Thomas Edition, and many more! This soprano uke features laser etchings of all these signature and is built from solid koa wood. It also features violin style peg tuners.
