Taylor Turns 50! Introducing the 50th Ann. BE 814ce, 314ce, and AD14ce-SB LTD Acoustics!

To celebrate 50 years as a company, the one and only Taylor Guitars is introducing a collection of special instruments for 2024!

The Music Zoo is very excited to carry the line of Taylor 50th Anniversary instruments. The first three in the batch announced for this year are the Builder's Edition 814ce LTD, 314ce LTD and AD14ce LTD! Read on for specs and details of each model!

The BE 814ce features two all-star tonewoods; a sinker redwood top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides! The sinker redwood is sourced from logs reclaimed from the rivers of northern California and the tonewood combines the warmth and sensitivity of cedar with the project and range of spruce! Add into that the rich low-end and midrange of rosewood and you've got a very powerful and versatile Grand Auditorium!

The excellent 314ce Grand Auditorium gets some real nice 50th Anniversary upgrades including a torrified sitka spruce top with a Shaded Edgeburst finish, sapele back and sides, and a gorgeous firestripe pickguard along with Gemstone fretboard inlays. The torrification process removes excess moisture from the wood, and adds in an extra splash of responsiveness and 'vintage' warmth!

The 50th Anniversary AD14ce-SB LTD introduces a second cutaway model into the American Dream series! This US-made guitar features a spruce top paired with walnut back and sides sprayed in a classic Tobacco Sunburst finish on the top - of course leaving the beauty of the walnut back and sides natural! The top features a faux-tortoise firestripe pickguard along with chamfered (rounded) body edges, Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays and a set of gold Taylor tuners!
