Tesseract (1 of 1)

We were in attendance for Tesseract‘s show at Irving Plaza last night, and you can bet it was as awesome as we anticipated! The progressive act known for their groovy compositions, attention to detail, and dare we say “djenty” guitar sections, wrapped up their North American Tour alongside similar bands Skyharbor, ERRA, and The Contortionist. The night was an aural showcase of aggressive rhythms, a mixture of clean and growl vocals, and an endless number of climactic, mosh-inducing breakdowns. The night had no shortage of extended-range guitars either. With players boasting guitars ranging from brands like Ibanez, Mayones, Strandberg, and Jackson, our inner guitar-nerd was very-much alive for the duration of the show. Withal, we greatly encourage everyone to check out these four awesome bands. We promise you, you don’t need to be a “metal-head” to enjoy it….and like always, we’ll continue to keep you up to date on new bands we think are worth your while. So, be sure to stay tuned to the blog for new content posted each day! Scroll below to see some of our favorite tracks from these four bands!
