A fine piece of German engineering: this is an Eye’s Bass EBG-3 bass, dubbed the “Mercury 4”. Eye’s Basses are built with an aluminum block for the main ‘body’ with flame maple blocks attached for a familiar body shape, along with a bolt-on maple neck and African ebony fretboard. The bass has two active EMG pickups, and heavy duty Schaller hardware. It’s a great playing instrument that is sure to inspire you as a bassist looking for something different!
