The Story

SBG1820 Electric Guitar Vintage White

The classic Yamaha doublecut shape updated with modern electronics, specs, and a classic Vintage White finish. This is the built in Japan SBG1820, which is built with a maple top over a mahogany body. The modern changes to the guitar are a redesigned top that curves deeper than previous models, and now the center has optimized wood-mass to maximize the vibration of the strings through the bridge and tailpiece. The back is now flat to increase the low-mid response and presence of the instrument. The SBG headstock has been reshaped to a slightly smaller size – and the classic ‘flower pot’ inlay has been resized to be appropriately proportioned. Tone is provided by two Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers for great, fat and chunky well-defined rhythm and lead sounds. The hardware are Grover locking tuners and TonePros bridge/tailpiece for a rock-solid construction.
