The Story

1956 ES-140T 3/4 Sunburst

This is a 1956 Gibson ES-140 3/4 model archtop hollowbody with a single cutaway and sunburst finish. For those who want ES-175 looks but a body shape that's a bit more manageable - this can certainly do the trick. It has a single dog-ear pickup in the neck position and a 23" scale length with a 40mm nut width. The guitar looks like it has a replaced ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles like you'd find on a '60s Gibson. The frets look clean and were likely replaced as well - they have a narrow tall feel to them and have little to no wear. There's wear around the body expected for a guitar of its age, including some stiffness to the original tuners. It plays nicely and includes the original hardshell case!

Includes: Original Hardshell Case
