The Story

1956 ES-225TD Sunburst

This wonderful Gibson hollowbody is a 1956 ES-225TD in Sunburst - the first year for the guitar to received two P-90s instead of a single pickup. The guitar is in overall excellent condition with some light wear around the body including small scuffs and play marks, no structural cracks or any issues. There is an aftermarket modern compensated bridge installed with the original Gibson bridge included inside the case. There is one strap button changed, and one of the tuning buttons has been replaced since the original had started to deteriorate. The tuner machines and all other 5 buttons are original. The case is a modern case, not the original. The guitar plays wonderfully, with lots of life in the frets and all electronics working as they should!

Includes: Non-Original Hardshell Case, Original Bridge, Strap Pins and Tuners
