Rickenbacker collectors, take note of this beautiful example of a 375 model in Mapleglo with the original full-thickness square-style body, built in June of 1960 and owned by the legendary John Entwistle of The Who. The guitar was part of the Entwistle collection auctioned by Sotheby's in 2003, and still has the auction ID tags on the case. This 375 features triple Rickenbacker pickups, a double-bound body, and a vibrato bridge. The neck on this guitar has a beautiful bit of flame figure to it. The original pickguards were cracking and have replacements installed on the guitar. The originals are included in the case, along with a photocopy of the original factory receipt, and a vintage Rickenbacker pamphlet with their offered models at the time, and an original strap button which has cracked and been replaced on the guitar. This 375 is in excellent shape too, with bits of buckle rash around the back, but no major dings or anything to affect feel. The electronics all function, including the 'Ric-O-Sound" output jack. A beautiful guitar, through and through!
