Rare and collectible, this is a 1960s Marshall Capril amplifier. The little tube amp was limited to only approximately 100 units built, and offered by mail-order only. Covered in red tolex with side piping and the original Capri badge intact - the amplifier functions as it should. The amplifier has a UK plug and would need a step-down transformer to be powered within the US. The amp pretty much wants to be cranked up in both Volume and Tone all the way, with volume controlled by your guitar and picking dynamics, giving you an old British Blues tone that could be cool on a recording. The tone on this particular amplifier is very dark and has a big crunch to it! The amp is definitely a collectible, and should be kept within the home or studio setting.
