1972 Jazz Bass Mocha Item Description
Here's a well-loved 1972 Fender Jazz Bass in a Mocha finish. Right off the bat you can see the players wear all over the body of this one with bits of fading, the shadow of the bridge cover and dents and dings scattered throughout.
The pickups, tone pot, bridge and tuners of the bass are original with some replaced bridge screws and replaced volume pots (pots dating to the '90s). There's fretwear in the lower positions but nothing that affects notes ringing out as they should. There's plenty of room left in the truss rod and the action is currently at 2.25mm at the 12th fret. The bass includes the original case where latches have been installed as the thumbwheel locks have been broken over time. It shuts and protects the bass well, and the bridge cover is included as well.
