1978 Les Paul Recording Natural Item Description

This is a vintage 1974 Gibson Les Paul Recording model, a very interesting design and a personal favorite of Les Paul himself. The guitar is designed for maximum tonal variation and perfect for Les' needs in the recording studio; two low impedance pickups, onboard treble and bass controls with a 'Decade' switch which controls the treble harmonics, and two outputs for either a standard guitar amplifier or one meant for direct-to-console recordings.

The guitar is in very good shape; pick scratches and dings throughout with some lacquer chipping as well. There's fretwear under the treble strings from the 1st to 7th frets and the top of the truss rod cover is chipped but it still stays on the headstock. It comes with the original case, a stereo cable and Gibson paperwork!

Includes: Original Hardshell Case, Gibson Paperwork, Stereo Cable
