The Story

1981 Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst

This is a vintage 1981 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard with all of the appointments we know for the era; a three-piece top, "C" shaped maple neck and a bright cherry red finish. The guitar had its upkeep over the years; a professionally done refret, replaced nut and some aftermarket aged plastics to keep with the vintage looks of the guitar. The pickguard has a crack near the top of the plastic as pictured. The refret makes this one an easy guitar to play with higher than vintage-profile frets. There are dings and scratches throughout - this one clearly saw a medium bit of stage time. It even comes with the original warranty card and owners manual.

Includes: Original Hardshell Case, Gibson Paperwork
