The Story

1982 B.C. Rich Mockingbird Left-Handed Cherry Red

This Lefties need vintage B.C. Rich guitars too! This is an awesome example of a red Mockingbird with a maple body built between '81 and '82. The guitar has playwear throughout the body that's appropriate for its age; the bridge is heavily pitted but functions as it should with the adjustable saddles. The headstock "R" inlay is a bit stained red from the case interior fabric. The nut is chipped around the low E and A strings but there's no string slippage. Lastly the pre-amp switch works most of the time but cuts out intermittently to half-power. When the pre-amp is set to off, there's an odd 'rumble' sound - the guitar is being sold in as-is shape with the electronics for a next owner to dive into replacing if they want an aftermarket set. The guitar plays well - with low profile original frets. The original case is included with this rare lefty Mockingbird!

Includes: Original Hardshell Case
