Can we call it a 'Vintage' American Vintage Strat? This is a 1982 Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster, part of the first year of the beloved American Vintage series which aimed to bring Fender back to its glory days! The guitar is a 42 year old road warrior, showing just how resilient these Strats are because it's battle worn and still ready for more years of service! There are some spots of wear on the neck which aren't rough, but you can certainly feel them as you're playing, and you can see that the body has its share of scratches and dings. The pencil date on this neck is 6-18-82. The neck screws on this piece are stripped, but still function as they should, and the guitar plays wonderfully. The original case and tremolo arm are included along with a Fender strap.
