This guitar is a 1983-1984 Charvel guitar which is made with a gorgeous double-bound flame maple body and a birdseye maple neck made for left-handed players. The guitar had most if not all of its parts changed over the years: there's a Seymour Duncan single coil bridge pickup with a '59N wound by Maricela Juarez in the neck. There is mini-toggle on the control plate to split the humbucker coils and only leave the inner coil engaged. There is some scratchiness to the pots and switch even with contact cleaner used. The truss rod on the neck is fully loosened and it does have some backbow - we currently have 10s strung up on it to add tension and even the neck out: it plays quite nicely. The neck pocket on the body has 1983 and 1984 dates, likely noting the start and end date of the build. A modern hardshell case is included with this rare early '80s Charvel!
