This is a 1983 Fender Elite Telecaster in a natural gloss finish over an ash body, as part of the Elite Series introduced by Dan Smith and the team which brought Fender back to its glory days in the early '80s. The Elite features a slab rosewood fretboard at a 12" radius, jumbo frets, noise-cancelling pickups and active MDX and TBX controls on the tone knobs. The versatility of the guitar is really next level, and you can definitely dial in thick humbucking tones with tons of midrange and bite. The guitar has a 4-bolt neck with tilt adjustment, Schaller-designed hardware, and is in overall excellent condition. There is some light fretwear on the first few frets - nothing to affect notes from ringing out. The original case is included - though the latches are all broken off and the case is tied together with a belt currently for safe keeping. We recommend a new hardshell case for transporting the guitar, but including the Fender case for the sake of originality.
Includes: Original Hardshell Case
