1991 Firebird V Owned by Eric Clapton Cardinal Red Item Description
Even guitar gods such as Eric Clapton have to thin the herd sometimes, and such is the case when he sold some of his collection through Gruhn Guitars, which is where this Gibson Firebird has come from. This pre-owned 1991 Gibson Firebird V was a part of Eric Claptons collection which was sold at the Nashville guitar shop in 2016. The guitar is in overall excellent shape with light scratches around the body. The bridge and knobs were changed, with the originals included in the case - but if what's on the guitar works for Eric Clapton...it works for us. It even includes the original Gruhn paperwork with a letter of authenticity signed by Eric and even some old strings, a leather strap and a pick!
