Product Description
This beautiful instrument is an Alvarez Yairi GYM90, a custom piece made with AAAA-Grade Hawaiian koa all around, with a mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. The guitar is all made by hand, down to the hand-carved bracing and the neck being hand-shaved. The guitar is Yairi’s take on a Grand Concert guitar with mixed body elements of Grand Auditorium and Concert Classical. As with all koa guitars, this guitar is very bright, but will open up over time as you play it. It’s a beautiful piece that is excellent for fingerpicking and recording.
