Product Description
The Bare Knuckle Apache is a set of single coil pickups that go for the early-50's Stratocaster sound- round and fat bottom end with high end that rings chimes like a bell. The pickups are hand scatterwound with period correct heavy formvar wire, have hand-beveled Alnico III magnets with vintage staggered pole pieces., and the bridge pickup is wound slightly hotter, in order to give a better balance to the set. This set of Apache single coil pickups have aged parchment covers and the middle pickup is a standard wind, not RWRP.
