Caparison guitars are made in Japan and have found endorsers among such rockers as Joel Stroetzel of Killswitch Engage and Phil Campbell of Motorhead. The company's Dellinger Prominence guitar features a unique three-piece body comprised of a Maple center and Mahogany sides which yields a more balanced sound than traditional all-Mahogany construction. The Transparent Spectrum Black finish shows off the three-piece construction. The guitar's slim profile Maple neck is bolt-attached and topped with a dark Ebony fingerboard. The Prominence is set apart from regular dual humbucker guitars by its innovative pickup configuration featuring a humbucker in the bridge along side a humbucker-like configuration made from a "rail" style pickup next to a traditional single-coil. This layout, along with the five-way Schaller Mega Switch, allows for a wide range of tones that are sure to inspire!
