Custom Shop Star Masterbuilt Rob Knowles Cobalt Blue Item Description

You can be the only one in the world with this unique Charvel Custom Shop Star! Built for a special event as a one-off, this is a neck-thru construction Star that's Masterbuilt by the very talented "Big" Rob Knowles. Features include a lightly relic'd Cobalt Blue finish over an alder body, the Star has an ebony fretboard inlaid with mother of pearl dots, a single Seymour Duncan JB humbucker and the Floyd Rose 1984 tremolo unit. The aesthetics on this one are very different for Charvel in that it almost has a bit of Gretsch crossover with the metal plate over the upper horn and the bracket-mounted gold-anodized pickguard like you'd find on a Penguin. The relic wear is tasteful and it plays like butter, just as any Charvel Custom Shop - especially a Masterbuilt guitar would!
