Product Description
This is a new Hummingbird V4 from EarthQuaker Devices. The Hummingbird is a choppy, sawtooth tremolo modeled on the vintage “repeat percussion” unit and similar to those found in old Valco and Vox amplifiers. It's capable of producing a wide range of sounds from classic “50’s style” shimmering tremolo to a more synthy, delay-like chop that turns your signal into a burst of short pings and on through to near ring modulation speeds. The V4 of the pedal now has Earthquaker FlexiSwitch technology. This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching. For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass. For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you’d like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.
