This is a new Talons from EarthQuaker Devices. The Talons is an extremely versatile high gain overdrive that serves up the full range of gain from transparent boost to heavy saturation. It is not designed to mimic another overdrive from any era, instead it is mean provide a wide range of gain in one pedal. It features a presence control that gives you a wide range of top-end contour and an active 3 band EQ that allows you to sculpt your tone to perfection. It can also can be powered at the standard 9v for a warmer amp-like tone or at 18v for greater headroom, more volume and a brighter, stiffer grind.
