The quilt maple top is finished in a very cool Transparent Black finish. The basswood body is finished in a black gloss then bolted to a birdseye maple neck. The matching birdseye maple fingerboard is inlaid with Music Man's standard small dot inlays and fretted with 22 medium jumbo frets. A fast-playing gunstock oil and wax neck finish ensures comfortable feel all across the neck. Dual custom-wound DiMarzio EVH humbuckers are wired to a three-way switch, then to a master Volume control (marked "Tone", just like Eddie's) for simple operation. The Floyd Rose locking bridge and nut combine with Schaller tuners to ensure you'll always be in tune. A must-have for any EVH collector, this instrument is truly ready to rock!
