A new and exciting bass from Music Man that takes the time-honored StingRay and shrinks it down to a short-scale 30"! The bass has a lightweight and resonant ash body, with a select maple neck for that snap and sustain that you want out of a StingRay Bass. Bassists have long reached for short-scale instruments for their 'rubbery, yet still thumpy' tone - but many times short-scale basses have been relegated to student models or even instruments that aren't quite packed with features as their 34" counterparts. No more with the StingRay with its push-push volume boost, 2-band EQ and 5-bolt sculpted neck joint. Music Man fans will find lots of fun and tone with this awesome bass.
