This is a lightly used and still in overall excellent condition ESP Custom Shop Stephen Carpenter signature STEF B-8 model! Built in Tokyo, Japan - this is the Deftones' guitarist axe that he'll use on stage for 8-string songs. The guitar has an extended 27" scale length to hold the tension and intonation of its lowest notes. A previous owner installed a set of white cover EMG 60 and 81 pickups and added in the EMG 18v mod which doubles the voltage of the pre-amp. It opens up the guitar and increases power across the whole frequency range, which is great for something like an 8-string. The guitar has light surface swirl and marks around the body, no dents or dings. The original case and COA are included.
