Handcrafted by the talented luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan - this is the GL George Lynch Desert Eagle, a top-tier model which we rarely get to see here and when it arrives, it flies back out super fast! As one of the world’s most respected and influential guitarists, George Lynch was one of the very first ESP Signature artists to join their roster back in the 1980s. This guitar, an evolution of George’s legendary Kamikaze guitar, is a striking design that has a graphic theme accented by double feathers and arrow heads.
Like most of George’s personal custom shop models, the ESP GL Desert Eagle offers a maple body, which provides both a fast attack and a clear, bright sustain. It also includes a bolt-on maple neck at 25.5” scale, profiled to George’s original U shape, with an ebony fingerboard, dot position markers, and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Components on the ESP GL Desert Eagle include a Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo which has been upgraded with a fat brass tremolo block and stainless steel screws, as well as ESP strap locks. This guitar also features a truly outstanding set of pickups. The bridge pickup is an Arcane Mr. Scary humbucker with zebra covers, while the neck pickup is an Arcane GL Desert Eagle Single Coil, with pickup selection handled with a push-pull on the single volume knob.
Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity and Tremolo Ar
