This is the new for 2018 Fender American Original '60s Telecaster! The American Original takes the appearance of the Telecaster in its classic double bound Lake Placid Blue finish and gives it a modern tweak with vintage-tall frets and a 9.5" radius. The pickups are Pure Vintage '64 Gray Bottom Single-Coils, made as period-correct as possible. Other authentic touches include vintage-tall frets, original-era body radii, vintage style hardware—including three steel barrel saddles—vintage-style hardshell case and a lacquer finish that not only lets the wood “breathe” naturally with resonant tone, but ages naturally as well.
