Heavy Relic? We're talking Super Heavy Relic on this one! A Fender Custom Shop 1950 Double Esquire with a custom-color Faded Aged Surf Green finish over the ash body, or what's left of the Surf Green at least. The guitar along with its finish treatment has a quartersawn maple neck carved to a soft "V", a very comfortable 7.25-9.5" fretboard radius, and a set of handwound 50-51 Blackguard pickups. Historically accurate - this piece of sturdy quartersawn maple does not have a truss rod. If you want a Tele that doesn't look like much else out there, it's hard to go wrong with this one.
