The Story

1953 Esquire Heavy Relic Roasted Ash Top-Loader Faded Nocaster Blonde

Here's a used '53 Esquire with a roasted ash body, originally sold by The Music Zoo and back to find itself a new home. The guitar plays and looks awesome, with all wear looking original to how the Custom Shop intended. The ash body has undergone a roasting process that eliminates excess moisture and sugars for rock-solid stability and extra punchy tones. The appointments are all 50's style, with a faded Nocaster blonde finish and vintage-style controls. We decided to go with a Top-Loader bridge on this guitar. Top-loaders are favored by players such as Jim Campilongo, who like the bridges affect on the Tele sound, rounding out the sometimes harsh high-end, and giving the strings a slinkier feel than a through-body bridge.

Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity
