The roasting process stabilizes the wood, as well as gives it some of the tonal characteristics that we love vintage guitars for. Add in the 9.5" radius with medium jumbo frets for a modern playability, and you've got an Esquire that exists in the best of both worlds! The guitar includes a black 1-ply pickguard should you want to convert the guitar to a classic single-pickup Esquire.
