The ash body and maple neck are both roasted - a process which eliminates excess moisture from the wood, creating not only a more aged appearance and rock-solid "broken-in" stability, but a more resonant and expressive tone. This Custom Shop Strat also features custom '50s Strat pickups, vintage style tremolo bridge and tuners, bone nut, and a single ply white pickguard.
