This is an incredible '60 Heavy Relic HSS Strat created by Andy Hicks for The Music Zoo's 2025 Fender Custom Shop Road Show. The guitar has a slew of specs that make it a hot-rodded Strat that is made for tonal perfection. There's a Heavy Relic 3-Tone Sunburst color over the alder body with a AA-flame quartersawn maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard. This guitar features Andy's favorite wiring setup with a stealthy stacked volume pot; the single-coils are wired to 250k with a Seymour Duncan '78 wired to a 500k pot - to bring out the best qualities of each pickup. The neck is carved to the SRV Tribute Strat Oval "C" profile, and we always dig the feel of narrow tall frets and a 9.5" radius.
