This incredible instrument is a Music Zoo-spec'd 1961 Jazz Bass in an Aged Fiesta Red over 3-Tone Sunburst finish Masterbuilt by the very talented Austin MacNutt! Austin went to great lengths to dial in the look and feel of an oversprayed vintage J-Bass that's been beat down so much that the original finish peeks out. We went with a rift sawn maple neck and a dark rosewood slab fretboard. To provide the tone, a pair of Handwound Vintage J-Bass pickups. To top it all off, Austin utilized a Spitfire tortoiseshell pickguard, who makes some of the best reproduction tortoiseshell pickguards in the business. It matches the red and sunburst finish perfectly.
