Who ever said that a one-pickup guitar is a one trick pony? This awesome Fender Masterbuilt '53 Esquire with 'Super Esquire' wiring proves that saying wrong! The guitar has a roasted ash body and quartersawn roasted maple neck, with a modern 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets. The Super Esquire switching system gives you lots of choices; in the push/pull down setup of the volume knob: the pickup is wired to the volume and no-load tone controls, letting you dial back volume without losing high end. In the push/pull up; you can get that classic straight to jack sound, combined with two different capacitor values for a difference in tone, one darker than the other. The guitar feels fantastic, and has a great vibe to it.
