This wild-looking Strat is a Music Zoo-spec'd Masterbuilt guitar by the legend Greg Fessler. We aimed for a color-over-color Strat with a lightweight, resonant construction and perhaps some added twang. We got what we asked for! This guitar features a roasted ash body and roasted quartersawn maple neck carved to a chunky '50s "U" shape all coming out to 7 lbs, flat. The guitar has three Custom Shop '50s Strat pickups, and the twang comes from the three brass saddles with a G.E. Smith-style 'sawed off' Tele bridge! We appreciate the detail of a metal switch tip to match the relic'd anodized pickguard as a nice cherry on top!
