This muscle-car of a Strat is a pre-owned Custom Shop '60s Stratocaster relic with an Olympic White finish over a roasted mahogany body. Mahogany bodied Strats were actually made by Fender in the early '60s and are incredibly rare. The roasted mahogany gives the guitar an increased midrange and overall "body" to the traditional Strat sound...it's great for being used as a lead instrument in a band context. The guitar has a Duncan Lil '59 in the bridge with handwound '62 Strat pickups in the neck and middle for classic chime but hot-rodded Rock when you switch to the bridge position. There is also a third handwound '62 pickup included in the case, should you want to get a more traditional Strat bridge pickup tone out of the guitar. It's in overall excellent condition with all wear original to how the Custom Shop intended the guitar to look and feel.
Includes: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity, Case Candy, '62 Handwound Bridge Position Pickup
