Here's a great piece from the Fender Custom Shop, a '72 Telecaster Custom with a NOS 3-Tone Sunburst and a satin-oil finished quartersawn Maple neck for a smooth feel and easy playability. Other features on the guitar are a handwound '63 Tele bridge pickup with a Seth Lover humbucker in the neck, great for thickening up chords and chunky rhythm work to complement the usual Tele twang. We love the look of the big headstock along with the witch hat knobs and big 3-ply guard. This is a guitar that will catch eyes as well as ears.
